SikaCeram®-650 Tile Grout KE requires 30-34 % of clean, cool, potable water per bag (check actual bag weight).

Return to service times shall depend on environment conditions, test results are conducted in laboratory conditions at 23°C & 50% relative humidity.

Grout Coverage chart kg per m²

Coverage shall vary depending upon the texture, size, thickness and application technique of the grout. Use chart as a guide only.

1. Slowly add the measured liquid (refer to Mixing ratio) into a clean mixing bucket. Mix the liquid if additive is being used.
2. Slowly add the SikaCeram®-650 Tile Grout KE powder to the water while stirring with the mixing paddle attached to the drill.
3. Stir the mixture for approximately 2-3 minutes until a smooth lump free consistency is achieved (similar to toothpaste).
4. Allow the mixture to stand/rest for 5 minutes then restir for an additional minute.
5. SikaCeram®-650 Tile Grout KE is now ready for use.

SikaCeram®-650 Tile Grout KE may require restirring during its pot life. Do not add additional water

1. Lightly dampen the grout joint prior to grouting, particularly when using porous tiles and or in hot and or windy conditions.
2. Work the grout in a diagonal motion using a rubber grout float or squeegee.
3. Ensure joint are completely full and that grout doesn't just sit at the top of the joint.
4. Remove the excess grout from the face of the tiles while installing grout.
5. Allow the grout to firm from 10-15 minutes.
6. Clean and profile the grout with a clean semi-dry (rinse & wring out) sponge of the surface of the tile and joints lightly wiping in a circular motion. Use as little water as possible to avoid shade variation, efflorescence, and shrinkage.
7. Wipe off in a diagonal motion with the clean sponge. Again, using as little water as possible.
8. Protect from rain, the elements & traffic while the grout is drying.
9. Timing of the cleaning of the grout shall vary in accordance to site condition such as climate, temperature, wind, and location

Clean up and return to service

• Allow the grout to dry for 12-24 hours before polishing off any residual grout haze with a microfibre cloth.
• Hard to remove haze can be removed with Sika Branded Tile & Grout cleaner.

Tools and equipment can be cleaned with water before the grout dries. Grout that has dried will need mechanical removal.
